ChinaHybrid System Co., Ltd (“CHS Company”), established on November 25, 2014, is a joint venture created by China’s famous hybrid automobile battery supplier Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd and famous private-owned automobile manufacturer (Fortune Global 500 enterprise, and China top 10 automobile enterprise) Zhejiang GeelyHoldingGroup Co., Ltd.
ChangdeLyrun New Material Co., Ltd
ChangdeLyrun New Material Co., Ltd, established in 2003, is a high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in the development and manufacturing of the series products including new energy material of nickel foam, three-dimensional multi-hole nickel-plated steel strip, and metal foam materials for special purposes. One of the featured products, “continuous band-shaped nickel foam”, as the firstdomestically made product, has independent intellectual property right and is listed as national “863” major breakthrough project and national major new product. The Company is the world largest nickel foam manufacturer for battery (HEV), and the technical performance indexes of the products are ahead of world leading level. It has been recognized by many world famous battery manufacturers including Japan Toyota, Sanyo, Panasonic, French SAFT, and US Unicpack and become theirregular supplier.
Lanzhou JinchuanCorun Battery Co., Ltd
Lanzhou JinchuanCorun Battery Co., Ltd is a joint venture created by Lanzhou Jinchuan Technology Park Co., Ltd of Jinchuan Group and Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd with a registered capital of RMB 510,000,000. Currently, the Company has two manufacturing bases, namely YiyangManufacturing Base, located in Yiyang High-Tech Zone, Hunan Province; and Lanzhou Manufacturing Base, located in Jinchuan Technology Park, Heping Town, Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, with a floor area of 12,554.4 m2.
Industrial Planning:
- Ni-MH battery industry: The major product is Ni-MH power battery with high capacity, low self- discharge, and high power, of which the construction was completed for operations in 2010. The production capacity is 250,000 pcs/d.
- HEV alloy industry: The major product is alloy powder for hydrogen storage for HEV automotive battery. The first-phase production line was completed in April 2017 with a production capacity of 1000 t/y; in 2018, the production capacity will increase to 3000 t/y and 5000 t/y in 2020.

Founded in 2001, Yiyang Corun Battery Co., Ltd. is located in Yiyang National high-tech industrial development zone. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd. , a national advanced battery demonstration-type manufacturing base. The Company major products are Ni-MH consumer battery, Ni-MH industrial battery, Ni-MH high-temperature battery, and industrial supporting items of lithium battery, etc. Our main markets are US, Europe, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Eastern China, and Southern China, and extensively used in the fields of electric tools, intelligent robot, electric toys, and emergency lights, etc.
Hunan Copower EV Battery Co., Ltd
Hunan Copower EV Battery Co., Ltd, established on August 18, 2008, is one of the subsidiaries engaged in battery manufacturing under the control of Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd. The Company is dedicated to automobile battery and energy pack R&D, manufacturing and sales. It owns key technology and proprietary intelligence property of automobile battery and energy pack. Its battery technology of hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is ranked in world top three and it is an international automobile battery and energy pack manufacturer with the highest industrialization level, the most advanced technology, the most mature product application and the strongest ability in supporting supply in the country. The Company undertakes many specialized projects of national 863 plan. It is a demonstrative enterprise of national foundation strengthening program and was selected as Hunan Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstrative Enterprise in 2015.
Japan ShonanCorun New Energy Co., Ltd
ShonanCorun New Energy Co., Ltd grows out of the enterprise specialized in automotive battery manufacturing under the control of Japanese enterprise Panasonic. On May 1, 2011, it was 100% acquired by Hunan Corun Company. Since 1992, the company has cooperated with world leading hybrid electric vehicle manufacturer for the R&D of Ni-MH battery. In 1997, it provided bulk supply for Toyota PRIUS. In 1998, it provided battery for Honda models including INSIGHT and CIVIC.
CPAB Automobile Battery Co., Ltd
In August 2014, CPAB Automobile Battery Co., Ltd received the establishment and operation approval, which had the investments of 5 companies, namely Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd, Japanese company PrimearthEV Energy Co., Ltd, ChangshuXinzhongyuan Venture Capital Co., Ltd, Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation. The total investment was JPY 16.32 billion and the registered capital was JPY 5.44 billion. Corun holds 49% shares. The major product of the Company is Ni-MH vehicle battery. It will extensively provide battery module in high quality for the clients including automobile manufacturers and system suppliers, and make efforts to contribute to the popularization of environment-friendly vehicles, energy saving and environmental protection in China.
